Bridie Barrett, Dublin
The death has taken place of the late Bridie Barrett, 3rd July 2024, peacefully at Belmont House Nursing Home, Dublin, beloved daughter of the late Thomas and Annie, loving sister of the late Carmel Barrett, Aidan Barrett (Eileen), Nan Prendergast (James) and Ita Copelin (Charles, Canada). Loved and missed by her nieces and nephews and the wider family circle. Bridie will be reposing in Bradley & McLaughlin’s Funeral Home, 31 William Street, Derry on Monday, 8th July from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. Funeral leaving Bradley & McLaughlin’s Funeral Home on Tuesday, 9th July at 12:20pm to St. Patrick’s Church, Pennyburn for Requiem Mass at 1:00pm. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Colin Carlin, 32 Osborne Street, Derry
We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Colin Carlin, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital on 5th July 2024. Late of 32 Osborne Street and formerly of 11 Central Drive, Creggan. May he rest in peace. Beloved son of the late Joy and Jimmy. Loving brother of Michael, Patricia, Joan, Kate, Peter, Jimmy, Marian and the late Jimbo, Leonard, Betty, Christy, Roddy and Paul. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of his nieces, nephews, wider family circle and friends. Colin’s remains will be reposing at 116 Circular Road from Midday on Sunday, 7th July. Funeral leaving from there on Monday, 8th July at 9:20am for 10.00am Requiem Mass in St. Mary's Church, Creggan. A private cremation will take place afterwards at Lakelands Crematorium, Co. Cavan. Mary Jo Kelly (née McCay), 42 Springtown Road, Derry
The death has occurred of the late Mary Jo Kelly (née McCay), 5th July 2024, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital, surrounded by her loving family, beloved wife of Mickey, loving mother of Michaela, Declan, Orlaith and Erin, a devoted grandmother and great-grandmother and a cherished mother-in-law and aunt to all her nieces and nephews. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by the entire family circle. Mary Jo will be reposing at her home, 42 Springtown Road, on Sunday, 7th July from 3:00pm. Family time please from 11:00pm to 11:00am. Funeral leaving her home on Wednesday, 10th July at 9:20am to Holy Family Church, Ballymagroarty for Requiem Mass at 10:00am. Mary Catherine “May” Lynch (née Mullan), 34 Whispering Pines, Limavady
We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Mary Catherine “May” Lynch (née Mullan), aged 91 years suddenly but peacefully at home on 4th July 2024, may she rest in peace. Late of 34 Whispering Pines, Limavady, Co Derry, BT49 0UB and formerly 9 Carnanbane Road, Dungiven. Beloved wife of the late Jimmy R.I.P and loving mother of Mary K, R.I.P, Anne, Irene, Seamus, R.I.P, Kevin & Martina and her daughter and son-in-laws. Will be sadly missed by her much loved Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. May’s funeral will take place on Sunday, 7th July leaving her late home at 2.00pm for 3.00pm Requiem Mass in St Josephs Church Banagher, interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.
