Shaun Lynch, Strabane Old Road, Derry
The death has taken place of the late Shaun Lynch, July 12 2025, peacefully at home, (late of Strabane Old Road), beloved father of Katie and Ben, loving brother of David and Sharon, dear brother-in-law of Breege, and cherished uncle of Kyle, Kerry-Leigh, Dearbhla, Rebecca, Jade, Caítlin, Chloe, Elisha and Jacob. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by Lizzy, Stevie and the wider family circle and all his friends. Shaun will be reposing at his sister-in-law’s home, 32 Campion Court on Sunday, July 13 from 11:00am. Family time please from 10:00pm to 10:00am. Funeral leaving 32 Campion Court on Tuesday, July 15 at 9:20am to St. Columb’s Church, Chapel Road for Requiem Mass at 10:00am. Interment afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Ardmore. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if wished, to Foyle Hospice, 61 Culmore Road, Derry. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul. Our Lady of Lourdes intercede for him.
George (Geno) McCarron, 123 Ardnamoyle Park, Derry
It is with deep regret we announce the passing of George (Geno) McCarron, July 11 2025, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital), beloved husband of Loretta, loving father of Annmarie and Jock (George), dear father-in-law to Sharon and John, a dear and loving grandfather, brother and uncle. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by the wider family circle and his many friends. George will be reposing at his home, 123 Ardnamoyle Park on Sunday, July 13 from 11:00am. Family time please from 10:00pm to 11:00am. Funeral leaving his home on Tuesday, July 15 at 9:20am to St. Patrick’s Church, Pennyburn for Requiem Mass at 10:00am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul. Our Lady of Lourdes intercede for him.
Patricia Elizabeth McGranaghan, Derry
The death has occurred of the late Patricia Elizabeth McGranaghan, Passed away peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital on July 12 2025. Much loved wife of Bertie, loving Mother of Kenneth and devoted Grandmother of Lucy. All welcome to call pay their respects to Patricia at Browns Funeral Home on Sunday from 5.00pm to 7.00pm and Monday from 6.00pm to 8.00pm. Funeral service will be held in Tamlaghtard Parish Church on Tuesday at 2.00pm followed by burial in adjoining Churchyard. Family flowers only please donations if desired and cheques payable to Tamlaghtard Parish Church and forwarded to Browns Funeral Directors, 21 Aghanloo Ind Est, Aghanloo Road, Limavady. Will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her entire family circle.
