The following deaths have occurred:-
Deirdre Ferry (née Healy), 52 Larkhill, Derry
The death has taken place of Deirdre Ferry (née Healy), 21st February 2023, (peacefully) at Altnagelvin Hospital, beloved wife of Peter, loving mother of Declan, Peter and the late baby Kevin, devoted grandmother of Sophie and Eva, dear mother-in-law to Rachel and Tracey, beloved daughter of the late Patsy and Molly, loving sister of Christine, Marie and the late Stella, Pat and Geraldine. Funeral leaving her home, 51 Larkhill on Friday, 24th February at 9.20am to Our Lady Of Lourdes Church, Steelstown for Requiem Mass at 10.00am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Sacred Heart Of Jesus have mercy on her soul. Our Lady Of Lourdes intercede for her.
Eileen Rose (Rosie) Samson (née Redfern), 28 Station Road, Desertmartin
The death has taken place of Eileen Rose (Rosie) Samson (née Redfern), 22nd February 2023, (peacefully) at Antrim Area Hospital, dearly loved wife of Tom, 28 Station Road, Desertmartin, much loved mother of Tommy, Roy, Gary, Rebecca, Aaron and the late twins Jonathan and Derek, a loving mother-in-law of Jennifer, Laura and Sam, a devoted grandmother and a beloved sister. House private, Family and close Friends welcome. Funeral service will take place at her home on Friday, 24th February, commencing at 2.00pm, followed by A Service of Committal at Calvary Free Presbyterian Churchyard at 3.00pm (approx.). Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to The Macmillan Unit, Antrim Area Hospital, payable to D. Watters (Donations A/c), 55 Main Street, Tobermore Magherafelt BT45 5PP. Lovingly remembered by her sorrowing Husband, Family and the entire Family Circle.
