Catherine Elizabeth Browne (née Lorimer), 199 Sperrin Park, Caw
The death has taken place of Catherine Elizabeth Browne (née Lorimer), 3rd January 2023, (peacefully) at her home, 199 Sperrin Park, Caw (in the tender loving care of her family in her 67th year) much loved and devoted wife of Roy, loving sister of Paul, dearest sister-in-law of Noel, Margaret, Sarah, Gerry, Trevor, Kenneth and the late Raymond. Service of Thanksgiving in her late home on Friday, 6th January at 11.00am followed by burial in Altnagelvin Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations in lieu if desired to Foyle Hospice c/o Mrs. Ruth Hay, Funeral Director, 24A, Church Road, Derry. BT47 3QQ. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by her entire family circle. The Lord is my Shepherd.
Satnam Singh Gill, Derry
We regret to inform you that Satnam Singh Gill sadly passed away on 30th December 2022, aged 67. Son of late Darshan Singh Gill and late Swaran Kaur Gill. Beloved husband of Satvir Kaur Gill. Loving brother of Ajit Singh (Peter), Nirmal Kaur and Gian Kaur. Wonderful brother-in-law to Primaljit. Devoted father and uncle of Ropie, Babu, Lisa, Raja, Sahib and Joban. Vera Mooney (née Hogg), 18 Rossdowney Gardens, Waterside
The death has occurred of Vera Mooney (née Hogg), 3rd January 2023, (peacefully) at her home, 18 Rossdowney Gardens, Waterside, beloved wife of the late Billy, darling mother of Paul and the late Nigel, beloved grandmother of Ryan, Laura, Matthew, Rachel, Russell and great-grandmother of Jack, dearest sister of Alwyn and the late Sylvia. Service of Thanksgiving in her late home on Friday, 6th January at 1.00pm burial afterwards in Altnagelvin Cemetery. Eileen Mullan (née McCloskey), 28 Station Road, Dungiven
We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Eileen Mullan (née McCloskey), (peacefully) at The Northwest Cancer Centre on 3rd January 2023, late of 28 Station Road, Dungiven, Co Derry. Beloved wife of the late John R.I.P. Loving mother of Gerard, Peter, Emmet, Sean, Kevin, Eugene, Ciaran, Conor and Cormac. Daughter of the late Francis and Rose McCloskey R.I.P and sister of the late Francis Patrick, James, Agnes, John, Twins Michael and William, Tommy, Peter and infant Bernard Joseph R.I.P. Deeply regretted by her daughters in law, nieces and nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren and her entire family circle. Reposing at her late home. Funeral on Friday, 6th January leaving her late home at 9.15am for 10.00am Requiem Mass in Saint Patrick’s Church Dungiven. Interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining graveyard. The death has occurred of John McClenaghan (Bellaghy), 4th January 2023, beloved husband of Fidelma and loving father of Ryan, Grainne, Marc and Emily, son of Willie and the late Margaret (Randalstown) and dear brother of Anthony, Eugene and Una McHugh, son in law of Mary and the late James Anthony Kearney. Funeral from his home, 110 Mullaghboy Road on Saturday, 7th January at 10.15am for 11.00am Requiem Mass in Church of St. Mary Bellaghy via webcam Webcam – Bellaghy-Ballyscullion Parish (bellaghyparish.com). William Edward (Willie) McGee, 370 Clooney Road, Ballykelly
The death has occurred of William Edward (Willie) McGee, 4th January 2023, (peacefully) at home surrounded by his loving family, devoted father of Natasha, Eunan and Zara, father-in-law of Mark, Lynsey and Brian, loving granddad of Lucie, Lily, Cahán, Amy, Myla and Ronan, cherished son of Bernadette and the late Edward and dear brother of James, Gerard, Marie, Angela and the late Eileen, Ann and Colette. Funeral from his home, 370 Clooney Road, Ballykelly, on Saturday, 7th January 2023 at 11.30am for 12o’clock Requiem Mass in St Finlough’s Church, Ballykelly. Joe O’Brien, The Loup
The death has taken place of Joe O’Brien, 3rd January 2023, (peacefully) at Cove Manor Nursing Home, Ardboe, beloved son of the late Frank and Christina and loving brother of Eugene and Seamus. Funeral from his brother Seamus’ home, 34 Ballymulligan Road, on Friday at 11.30am for 12.00noon Requiem Mass, in Church of St. Patrick, The Loup. Interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on his soul. Deeply regretted by his brothers, sisters-in- law, Mary and Shelagh, nephews, nieces and extended family circle. Joe’s wake will take place from 4.00pm to 10.00pm on Thursday, 5th January.
Joyce Wilson, Aghanloo
The death has taken place of Joyce Wilson, 4th January 2023, (peacefully) passed away at her own home surrounded by her loving family, late of Aghanloo. Much loved wife of the late John, loving mother of James and Jackie and the late Glennie, dear Mother in law of Audrey also a devoted grandmother and great grandmother. House strictly private. Friends and family welcome at Browns Funeral Home on Thursday evening between 7.00pm and 9.00pm. Funeral service in the Browns funeral home on Friday at 1.00pm followed by burial in 1st Limavady Presbyterian Church burial ground 2.00pm.
