We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Ryan Cooke suddenly at home on March 4 2025, may he rest in peace. Late of 452 Glenshane Road, Claudy, Co Derry. Loving father of Tyler, Eva, Caleb and the late Amy-Lee R.I.P. Son of the late Gerard and Carmel R.I.P and dear brother Gary, Paul, Shannon and the late Adrian R.I.P. Jim Cusack, 19 Westland Terrace, Derry
The death has occurred of the late Jim Cusack, March 5 2025, peacefully after a short illness, surrounded by his loving family, at his home, 19 Westland Terrace, (formerly of Cable Street), beloved husband of Philomena, loving father of Sineade, Carmen, Denise, Orla, Maria and Rebecca, a dear father-in-law and devoted grandfather and great-grandfather, dear son of the late Seamus and May, cherished brother to his brothers and sisters and a loving uncle to his nieces and nephews. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by the entire family circle. Funeral leaving his home on Saturday, March 8 at 9:20am to St. Eugene’s Cathedral for Requiem Mass at 10:00am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. House strictly private for family only. Family flowers only donations in lieu if wished to the Stroke Ward Altnagelvin Hospital. Robert (Mac) McIvor, 4 Maghery Court, Magheramason
The death has occurred of the late Robert (Mac) McIvor, March 4 2025 Peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital (surrounded by his loving family in his 74th year) much loved husband of the late Margaret, devoted dad of Samantha and Robert, loving father-in-law of Natasha and Ian, adored granda of Zac and William, loving brother, brother-in-law and uncle. Service of Thanksgiving in his late home 4 Maghery Court, Magheramason, on Friday, March 7, at 12.30pm burial afterwards in Mountcastle Cemetery. The death has taken place of Michael (Mickey) McKee, March 4 2025, late of 5 Westland Drive Magherafelt, beloved husband of the late Eileen and loving father of Damian, Barry, Martin, Sean and Sinead (Ferry), loving son of the late Johnny and Jane and dear brother of Sean, Seamus, Brendan the late Margaret (Peg) and twin sisters (died at birth). Funeral from his home, 5 Westland Drive on Friday, March 7 at 10.20am for 11.00am Requiem Mass in Church of our Lady of the Assumption Magherafelt, interment afterwards in cemetery at Church of St. John Milltown. The death has occurred of the late Moira Murray (née McKee) (Magherafelt), March 4 2025, 24 Mullaghboy Crescent, beloved wife of Brian and loving mother of Noel, Dolores, Fr Eamon, Marie and the late Bernie and Moira, daughter of late Edward and Sarah McKee and dear sister of the late Seamus McKee, sister in law Marie McKee and half sister to Seamus and Joe Gilmore. Viewing in McCusker Bros Funeral Home, 10a Garden Street, Magherafelt on Wednesday from 7.00pm to 9.00pm and Thursday from 6.00pm to 8.00pm. Requiem Mass in Church of St Mary Coolcalm on Frida, March 7 at 2.00pm, interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul. Maureen Thoday (née Moorcroft), Carthall Park, Coleraine
It is with deep regret we announce the passing of Maureen Thoday (née Moorcroft), died March 4 2025, peacefully at Ratheane Nursing Home, Coleraine, late of Carthall Park, Coleraine. Pre-deceased by her devoted husband Jim, 3rd October 2024; loving mother of Gary (Tina) and David, precious nan of Marc (Stacey) and Melanie (Stefan), proud great-nan of Freya and Arwen, loving sister of Alma, June and Jennifer. A celebration of her life will be held in Wades Funeral Home, Coleraine, on Tuesday, March 11 at 11.00am, followed by a private cremation. Family flowers only please.
