The following deaths have occurred:-
John Allen, 7 Lisfannon Park, Derry
The death has occurred of John Allen, 19th March 2023, (peacefully) at his home, 7 Lisfannon Park, beloved husband of Eileen, loving father of Lisa, Kevin, Orla, Shaun, Niall, Aileen and Declan, devoted grandfather to all his grandchildren, dear son of the late Jack and Bridie, loving brother of Jim, Hugh, Michael, Marjorie, Ann and the late Mary. Funeral leaving his home on Wednesday, 22nd March at 10.50am to St. Columba’s Church, Longtower for Requiem Mass at 11.30am, followed by cremation at 4.00pm in Lakelands Crematorium Cavan. Family flowers only donations in lieu if wished to Foyle Hospice, 61 Culmore Road, Derry, or Marie Curie, C/o 20 Dunhugh Park, Derry. Sacred Heart Of Jesus have mercy on his soul. Our Lady Of Lourdes intercede for him.
Margaret Fox (née Brennan), 89 Strand Road, Derry
The death has taken place of Margaret Fox (née Brennan), 19th March 2023. beloved wife of the late Alan, 89 Strand Road, loving mother of Carmel, Stephen, Catherine, David and the late Peter, a much loved grandmother and dear sister of William and Joan. Margaret's remains will be reposing in her daughter’s home, 74 Marlborough Street. Funeral from there on Wednesday at 9.30am for 10o’clock Requiem Mass in St. Eugene’s Cathedral. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. House private from 10.00pm to 11.00am please. Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for her.
Caina Healy, 3 Mount Street, Derry
We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Caina Healey, (suddenly) in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates on 15th March 2023. Late of 3 Mount Street, Derry. May she rest in peace. Beloved daughter of Brian and Nuala. Loving sister of Maureen and Mark. A much loved partner of Lauren. Dearest sister-in-law of Niamh and a precious aunty to Baby Fiachra. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of her wider family circle, friends and neighbours both in Derry and in Abu Dhabi. Caina's remains will be reposing at her late family home, 3 Mount Street. Her wake will commence at 1.00pm on Wednesday 22nd March. Funeral leaving from there on Friday, 24th March at 9.15am for 10.00am Requiem Mass in St. Eugene's Cathedral. Theresa Merrigan, formerly 272 Bishops Street, Derry
We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Theresa Merrigan, (peacefully) at Culmore Manor Care Home on 19th March 2023. Formerly of 272 Bishops Street and Alexander House. May she rest in peace. Beloved daughter of the late Susie Merrigan/Kearney. Loving sister of Colm, Sean, Hugh, Susan and the late Tony Merrigan. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of the extended Merrigan family, nieces, nephews and all of her wider family circle, friends and neighbours. Theresa's remains will be reposing at her brother Sean's residence, 33 Forest Park. Her remains will leave from there, today (Tuesday) at 5.30pm to repose overnight in St. Columba's Church, Longtower. Theresa's funeral Requiem Mass will then take place on Wednesday, 22nd March at 10.00am. Burial immediately afterwards in the City Cemetery. David Ross Porter, 9 Gleneldon Court, Coleraine
The death has taken place of David Ross Porter, 19th March 2023, (peacefully, surrounded by his loving family) at his home, 9 Gleneldon Court, Coleraine, dearly loved husband of Esther, much loved father of Jason and the late Lee and a beloved brother, brother-in-law and uncle. Service in 1st Coleraine Presbyterian Church on Thursday at 1.00pm followed by interment in Portstewart Cemetery. House private. Family flowers only please. Ella Ryan (née Burke), 53 Elmvale, Derry

May she rest in peace. Beloved mother of Eddie, Kevin, Clare and Kathy. Loving granny of Lucy, Ciara, Charlie, Thomas, Blake and Darcie. Dearest ex-wife of Eddie. Katie Sargent, 3 Gortnaskea Road, Draperstown
The death has taken place of Katie Sargent, 19th March 2023, (peacefully) at home, dearly beloved sister of Ella (Mc Cartan, Canada) and the late Mary, Peggy, Patsy, Joey, Oliver, Carmel in infancy and daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret. Funeral on Wednesday, 22nd March 2023 from her late residence 3 Gortnaskea Road, Draperstown at 11.30am for 12noon Mass in The Holy Rosary Church, Draperstown. Interment immediately afterwards in Straw Cemetery. Very deeply regretted by her loving sister, sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces and extended family circle. St Pio pray for her.
