The following deaths have occurred:-
Margaret Farren (née Logue), 37 St Canice’s Park, Eglinton
The death has taken place of Margaret Farren (née Logue), 27th August 2023, (peacefully) at home, beloved wife of the late Jim, 37 St Canice’s Park, Eglinton, loving mother of Seamus, Brendan, Anna, Cathy, Madonna and the late Anne, a much loved grandmother and great-grandmother and dear sister of the late Johnny, James and Paddy. Her remains will be reposing in her home. Funeral from there today (Wednesday) at 12.30pm for 1o'clock Requiem Mass in Star of the Sea Church, Faughanvale. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donation in lieu of flowers, if wished, Friends of Altnagelvin (Cardiology Ward), Altnagelvin Hospital, Glenshane Road, Derry, BT47 6SB. Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for her.
Marie Green (née Jordan), 109 Woodbrook, Derry
The death has occurred of Marie Green (née Jordan), 26th August 2023, beloved wife of Michael, loving mother of Michelle, Colin and Darren, mother-in-law of Peter and Susan, devoted nana of Kathryn, Callum, Michael, Megan and Niamh and dear sister of Pamela, Beatrice, Roisin, Margaretta, Frank and the late Raymond. Funeral from her home, 109 Woodbrook today (Wednesday) at 11.20am for 12o’clock Requiem Mass in St Mary’s Church, Ardmore. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for her.
Agnes McCool (née Grimm), 4 Crannog Park, Strathfoyle, Derry
The death has taken place of Agnes McCool (née Grimm), 28th August 2023, (peacefully) at Altnagelvin Hospital, beloved wife of Michael, 4 Crannog Park, Strathfoyle, loving mother of Angela, Michelle, Kevin and the late Brian, mother-in-law of William and a much loved grandmother and great grandmother. Family and friends are welcome to pay their respects at W J O’Brien & Son’s Funeral Home, 110 Clooney Road, Eglinton, this evening (Wednesday) from 7.00pm to 9.00pm. A private funeral will take place later. Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for her.
