Derry man for trial on drug supply charge

A 30-year-old Derry man has been returned for trial to the city's Crown Court  on a drug supply charge.

Kevin Barry Derry  is accused of having herbal cannabis with intent to supply on January 14 last year.

He is further charged with  being in possession of the drug on the same date.

Appearing at a preliminary enquiry at Derry Magistrates Court this morning, Doherty did not reply when the charges were put to him.

He was remanded on bail to appear at Derry Crown Court on February 12 next for arraignment.
