Derry protests against Benefit Office job losses

Protests have taken place outside Derry’s social security offices against job cuts.
Staff took the streets to stage lunchtime protests outside Job and Benefit Offices on Asylum Road and in the Waterside.
A total of 20 staff leave their jobs today after accepting voluntary redundancy packages.
The protests were organised by the Northern Ireland Public Service Alliance (NIPSA) as part of a Northern Ireland-wide campaign against public sector job cuts.
