Derry PS pupils take to the skies.... for a day out in London!

Primary five pupils from a Derry school have taken to the skies for a day trip to remember. Winner of the 2015 Aer Lingus Art for Schools’ Competition, Nathan McFadden treated his classmates at St Anne’s Primary School in Rosemount to an all expenses day in London courtesy of Aer Lingus.

Nathan’s poster design to promote Cinemagic’s Christmas feature film, ‘A Christmas Star’, took first place over hundreds of entries across Northern Ireland. As part of the prize package, St. Anne’s P5 class, accompanied by their teachers, was flown from George Best Belfast City Airport to London Heathrow to take in the sights of London, which included a flight on The London Eye and a visit to The Sea Life London Aquarium. They will also be welcomed as VIP guests of Cinemagic at their red carpet, world premiere of ‘A Christmas Star’ this November.
