James Bond themed Gala Dinner being held in Derry to raise money for cancer charity
The City Hotel in Derry is hosting a James Bond themed Gala Dinner later this month in support of Macmillan Cancer Support.
Fujitsu is the proud sponsor of Macmillan Cancer Support for 2017/2018 and the night is being organised by a Fujitsu employee who is a Macmillan Charity Champion, which means they liaise between the charity and Fujitsu employees.
The champion's role is also to raise funds through events such as coffee mornings, fun runs, raffles etc. The Gala Dinner Dance is one of these events which is aimed at raising funds for people suffering from cancer. This event is open to all and is a first come first served basis.
By 2020 almost one in two people will get cancer at some point in their lives. A cancer diagnosis can affect everything, which is why Macmillan are there to support people from the moment they’re diagnosed, through their treatment, and beyond.
From Macmillan nurses, who help with money worries and advice about work, to someone who’ll listen if a person just wants to talk, Macmillan are there as a constant source of support.
Macmillan help people affected by cancer take back control of their lives and begin to feel like themselves again.
The charity are holding a Gala Dance in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support at the City Hotel in Derry City. Tickets are now on sale for the James Bond themed night on Friday, September 29 at £35 each.

All proceeds go to Macmillan Cancer Support.
On the night there will be a champagne reception, free roulette chips for all ticket holders on the roulette wheel and a James Bond styled photo booth.
Dinner is severed at 8pm followed by live band. On the night there will be representatives from Macmillan Cancer Support and Fujitsu Services.
