A man has appeared at Derry Magistrates' Court charged with breaching a sexual offences prevention order.
The man, who cannot be named after an anonymity order was granted due to a possible threat, was charged with the offences on February 27 after police found that he had visited a website that he had been prohibited from being on.
He had previously been in court in September last year convicted on charges that included possession of indecent images of a child and was given three years probation with other conditions.
Police attended his residence on February 27 and he was found to be in breach of a number of those conditions.
He had previously been assessed as being at low risk of reoffending.
Defence solicitor Seamus Quigley said that there was 'no suggestion' of anything nefarious' on the website that he had visited, adding that he had provided all pin and access codes to police.
He was again released on condition that he not possess a mobile phone and will appear again on March 27.
