Special Children's Hospice fundraiser being held tonight in memory of little Sofia

A special event will be held tonight in memory of a little Derry girl who died earlier this year.
Sofia Parke was born with a rare heart defect – she was just just two-and-a-half years old.
Sofia, from Southend Park in the Brandywell area, passed away in August in Birmingham Children’s Hospital in England.
In her memory, a charity “Take Me Out” event will be held at the Du Pont Club in Derry tonight.
Gareth McGlinchey will host the event with all proceeds from the evening going to the Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice.
Event organiser, Theresa Ferguson, as many people as possible to go along and support their big night out.
“I am delighted we are hosting this event and really looking forward to matching off a few couples,” she said.
“It all came about when my good friends Martina Friel, Gareth McGlinchy and I wanted to pay tribute to a brave little girl and her family.
“We would love to raise enough for a respite break for a local life-limited child and their family at Horizon House which costs £500.
“Whatever we can raise will be fantastic. It is the only service of its kind in Northern Ireland.”
The doors open at the Du Pont Club at 7.00pm. Admission is £10 per person.
