Traffic lights out in Culmore, New Bridge and City Centre as power cuts continue

UPDATE:  The overnight power cuts have left parts of Derry without traffic lights.

Homes in Shantallow and Galliagh are still affected by the cuts - some are out entirely, while others have light and enough low voltage electricity for lower-powered devices and lights.

Councillor Sandra Duffy has spoken to Northern Ireland Electricity and says they hope to have supplies restored by 10am this morning.

NIE say the problem was caused by a high-voltage fault.
