VIDEO: Derry firefighters swap fire for ice in charity challenge
When Derry firemen aren't being heroes fighting fires and rescuing cats from trees, it seems they're raising money for charity...in style.
The firemen of Northland Road Fire Station's Blue Watch took up the Ice Bucket challenge to raise money for Macmillan Cancer with hilarious results.
The lads line up and with military precision dump ice cold buckets of water over their heads before systematically dunking their whole bodies in a pool of ice cold water.
For any of the ladies out there that have a hankering for firemen - be warned - you may need to be hosed down after this!
The the feisty firefighters nominate other officers as well as their very own Chief at the Derry fire station and urge others to donate to Macmillan by texting ICE to 70550.
Fair play, lads!
