Buncrana for All reaches out to all who may feel impacted by Dublin events

A Buncrana community group has reached out to all those who were hurt and those who may have been adversely impacted as a result of the events which took place in the capital last night.
In a statement the group say they are shocked at events which left school children in hospital following an attack outside a Gaelscoil, on Parnell Square east.
A five-year-old girl remains in a critical condition in hospital following the attack. Two other children and a carer for the children also sustained injuries in the stabbing incident. A six-year-old girl is being treated for head injuries and is due to undergo surgery while a five-year-old boy who suffered minor physical injuries has been discharged from hospital. The children's carer remains in a serious condition in hospital.
The suspect for the attack was wounded and remains under guard in hospital.
The statement from Buncrana for All say: "Our thoughts are with these young children, their families and teachers at this difficult time. We hope everyone has a full and speedy recovery. We commend the courage of passers-by, both immigrant and Irish, who put themselves at risk by stepping in to try to protect those children. They are heroes one and all."
The group say their thoughts are with those living in Buncrana who may not be native to the town who watched the frightening events unfold last night.
"We know some of you are anxious and worried. Be assured that we, like the vast majority of people in Buncrana and the surrounding areas, stand with you in love and solidarity. Please do reach out to us if you are concerned in any way or need any support. Buncrana is, Buncrana always was and Buncrana always WILL be, for all."
