Carndonagh man Daniel McCormick has been called to the Bar to practise as a barrister in Northern Ireland.
Daniel, the son of Patrick and Geraldine McCormick, is a graduate of Queen's University Belfast, where he studied Law. He was one of just 20 Bar trainees admitted to the prestigious Institute of Professional Legal Studies last year.

His early ambition was clear when he was part of a team of pupils from his school to represent Ireland in the Empire Mock Trial Competition in New York in November 2017. Daniel will now undertake a six-month pupillage and will be able to accept instructions in March 2026.
