The housing development at Coill an Airgid features 14 completed units

Elected Members of the Lifford-Stranorlar Municipal District visited the recently completed social housing development at Coill an Airgid, Ballybofey.

The visit marked the completion of Phase 3 of the 14-unit development, which was delivered by MBC Building Contractors Ltd. This latest phase comprises seven homes, including two 2-bedroom two-storey houses, three 3-bedroom two-storey houses, and two 2-bedroom apartments.

The new A-rated, energy-efficient homes have been designed to provide comfortable, sustainable living for tenants. Each property is equipped with modern air-to-water heat pump systems and triple-glazed windows and doors, helping to reduce energy consumption and enhance comfort for residents.

The development represents another significant investment in the provision of high-quality social housing in the Ballybofey area and will help meet local housing needs.

The new tenants are expected to receive the keys to their homes over the coming weeks and begin moving into the development shortly thereafter.

The Elected Members welcomed the completion of the project and acknowledged the collaborative efforts of all involved in delivering these much-needed homes for the community.
