Frustration as clash of events leads to traffic chaos in Ballyshannon

Councillor appeals for ongoing issues to be dealt with for the betterment of the community
The Blessing of the Graves in Ballyshannon has clashed with a match in Fr Tierney Park, leading to gridlock.
The Rock area of the town on the south bank of the Erne was brought to a standstill on Sunday afternoon.
Frustrated Cllr Barry Sweeny (FG) too to Facebook to say: "Traffic chaos on The Rock again. Graveyard Sunday, one of the busiest days of the year plus a match in the park has resulted in traffic gridlock.
"I have pushed for a solution to this issue for a long time without results... yet.
"I will continue with renewed effort to get this nightmare improved for vehicles and pedestrians and school children."
