Mount Everest hero, Letterkenny’s Jason Black, is currently making his way back to Donegal for a special homecoming event this evening to mark his historic achievement.
Father of four Jason was welcomed home by his wife Sharon and children when he arrived back in Dublin last night after flying from Katmandu in Nepal, where he became the first Donegal man to climb to the summit of the world’s highest peak.
Speaking a short time ago to the Donegal Democrat on his journey home, Jason said he is looking forward to returning to Donegal this evening.
A special homecoming event is planned to take place this evening at the Market Square on Letterkenny’s Main Street at 7.30pm.
