Mist and fog to clear in Donegal - leaving sunny spells and scattered showers

Mist and fog will slowly clear this Tuesday morning with sunny spells and scattered showers for the rest of the day in Donegal.

Met Éireann said: "Highest temperatures of 5 to 7 degrees in a light southwest or variable breeze.

"Clear spells and scattered showers tonight, most frequent in the west. Mist and fog will develop once again tonight, with some dense pockets possible in a light southerly or variable breeze. Some frost patches developing too with lowest temperatures of -1 to +3 degrees.

"Areas of mist and fog will be slow to clear Wednesday morning. Sunny spells and scattered showers developing for the rest of the day. Highest temperatures of 4 to 7 degrees in light southwest to west winds."
