A makeup artist from Ballyshannon with a studio in Donegal Town has been shortlisted for Best Makeup Artist at the IMAGE Business of Beauty Awards 2025, one of Ireland’s most prestigious industry events!

Aoife Boyle mainly works with brides across the northwest and Northern Ireland, and has had the privilege of working with leading beauty brands in Selfridges, London, as well as at London Fashion Week.

"I’m especially proud to be the only finalist from the northern half of the country, with most of the category dominated by Dublin and Leinster artists," Aoife told DonegalLive.

"It feels very special to be representing Donegal and the northwest on a national stage. Building my reputation has taken dedication and hard work, but I feel so lucky to do what I love every single day."
