Today FM host Barry Dunne called Meghan and when she answered the phone while holding her newborn baby in her arms, all she had to do was name this week’s sum.
“I’m off work at the minute on maternity,” she said. “I’m just at home with my baby.”
"Oh my God, I'm shaking," she said when she was told her answer was correct, while joking that her baby was staring up at her wondering what was going on.
The Today FM Cash Machine is a daily, recurring radio competition where listeners can win massive, life-changing sums of tax-free cash. The game is syndicated across Ireland's GoLoud network, meaning it runs concurrently on stations like Today FM, Newstalk, Spin 1038, Spin South West, and 98FM.
A sum of money is mentioned on the stations throughout the week and whoever gets the call, usually on Fridays, must then say how much to claim the prize.
