Dry for much of today, Tuesday, but noticeably cooler in Donegal.

Bright or sunny spells and just isolated showers at first. Later this afternoon, showers will develop more widely near the north coast, gradually spreading southwards this evening. Highest temperatures of 6 to 8 degrees. Light to moderate north or northwest winds will increase fresh at times near windward coasts this afternoon and evening.

Showers will gradually clear southwards overnight tonight leaving clear spells. Minimum temperatures will range 0 to 4 degrees with light to moderate northerly or variable breezes inland, but winds will continue fresh to strong near the north coast.

Cool and a little breezy but largely dry tomorrow, Wednesday, with variable cloud amounts and sunshine. Top temperatures of 6 to 8 degrees in mostly moderate northerly winds.
