Fresh new-look sign, as Inishowen Development Partnership opens on Buncrana Main Street

'Thanks to Sign Right for making our vision come to life and to everyone who has been so understanding, helpful and patient with us during our move'
Inishowen Development Partnership (IDP) has officially opened the doors to its new temporary office on Buncrana’s Main Street, with the unveiling of a brand new sign.
The organisation has relocated to the former Buncrana Post Office building, offering a more central and accessible location for the public.
The IDP says it's delighted with the look of its bright new signage.
“Thanks to Sign Right for making our vision come to life and to everyone who has been so understanding, helpful and patient with us during our move,” a spokesperson said.
“We are fully open and functional again now; so don't be afraid to pop in and say hi.”
The organisation says the move ensures that it remains at the heart of the community, continuing to provide vital services and supports across employment, social inclusion, education, sustainability, and community development.
IDP’s current office on St Mary’s Road, Buncrana, closed on Friday, 22 August, ahead of the move.
A spokesperson for IDP said the central location in the heart of Buncrana will ensure Inishowen Development Partnership remains highly accessible to the public.
“Our move to the former Post Office keeps us close to the community we serve and it allows our staff and programme partners to continue delivering supports without interruption,” said IDP.
“Last year we welcomed almost 4,000 individuals through our doors and we want to continue to help as many people and groups as possible in 2025.”
IDP’s move to the former post office in Buncrana is only a temporary measure however, as the organisation prepares to design and construct a new purpose-built facility at Ferris Lane in the town for its 'forever home'.
