Showers and possible thunderstorms in Donegal today - before a clearer evening

It'll be mostly cloudy today in Donegal with fairly widespread showers and with a longer spell of rain for a time and the chance of a few isolated thunderstorms.

It'll become mainly dry and bright in the west during the evening, with those improving conditions extending to most places before nightfall. Highest temperatures of 14 to 17 degrees in light to moderate westerly winds.

Any remaining showers will clear early tonight and the rest of the night will be dry with good clear spells. However, cloud will increase into western parts later in the night with some light rain and drizzle moving in. Lowest temperatures of 7 to 11 degrees in light westerly breezes, backing southwesterly.

It'll become cloudy tomorrow morning, Sunday, with a little patchy light rain and drizzle spreading eastwards, but tending to die out as it does. Then apart from an isolated light shower, the rest of the day will be dry with some bright or sunny spells developing too. Highest temperatures of 14 to 17 degrees in light to moderate southwest winds, becoming westerly through the morning.
