Drumreilly Youth Band was founded in 1984 under the enthusiastic guidance of Fr. P. J. Flynn who sadly passed away in 2007.
The band performed for the first time on St Patricks day 1985 and over the years played at numerous events including St Patrick's Day parades, football matches and local festivals in Leitrim and surrounding counties.
During its existence, the band was very successful and won numerous awards. The band was honoured to play at the 75th Anniversary of the 1916 rising in Arbor Hill in 1991. Another highlight for the band was representing Leitrim and Connacht in the All-Ireland Fleadh marching band competition in Listowel in 1995.
The organiser hope that as many people as possible can join in the reunion and relive memories of practices, ponchos and parades.
