Friends of Suicide Loss are holding a walk from The Spire, O’Connell Street , Dublin 1 to Clontarf Castle on November 18th to honour a day devoted to those impacted by suicide. On this special walk they will be carrying a ‘candle of hope’.

Proceedings will kick off at 1:30pm, with those taking part asked to meet at The Spire on O’Connell Street, from where, the walkers will make their way to Clontarf Castle where they will hold a commemoration of those that they have lost, followed by special events to support those in bereavement not just from suicide but including any other bereavement.
The International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day began in America in 1999 and was introduced by FOSL into Ireland for the first time 6 years ago with great success.
