Leitrim students have taken home prizes from the BT Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition 2023

Leitrim school students have achieved success in this year's BT Young Scientist and Technology exhibition in Dublin.

St Clare's Comprehensive School, Manorhamilton student, Conor Gibney, won second place in the Intermediate Individual section for his project 'PharmaCheck: A Medicine Interaction Checker'. Mohill Community College student, Sara O'Beirne secured a Highly Commended for her project 'A wind turbine design that is better for the environment and more cost effective'.
