Mohill Public Realm works to start after Summer

Leitrim County Council have commenced detailed design work on the Rural Regeneration Scheme for Mohill town.
Once complete, the local authority will be procuring a contractor to carry out the work on the streets of Mohill.
The contractor should be starting works towards the end of quarter 3 this year - just after summer.
The €2.5m project for Mohill town centre which was approved by councillors following a number of changes to the original plan was appealed to An Bord Pleanala last year. An Bord Pleanala upheld the council's decision.
This decision was subject to a judicial review proceedings in the High Court but that fell through.
The new Mohill street plan will see changes in pavement, parking and floral displays as well as a bigger focus on pedestrians and safe crossings.
