Plans submitted to convert former Leitrim pub into apartments

A planning application submitted to Leitrim County Council outlines the change of use and subdivision of the existing two-storey Pat Joe’s pub into residential units.
An application has been submitted to Leitrim County Council seeking permission to convert a former pub in Ballinamore into self-contained apartments.
The proposal outlines the change of use and subdivision of the existing two-storey Pat Joe’s pub into residential units.
It includes converting the ground floor bar and toilets into a two-bedroom apartment, while the ground floor disco bar and vacant first floor would be transformed into additional two-bedroom apartments, each with its own private entrance.
The application also seeks to repurpose the ground floor toilets and vacant first floor office/store into a two-bedroom townhouse.
Additionally, the plans include alterations to the building’s elevations and the development of the existing yard to accommodate bin storage, pedestrian access, landscaping and other associated site works.
Pat Joe’s ceased trading in August 2024.
A decision is expected from Leitrim County Council by April 14.
