Stolen tractor recovered in south Leitrim as part of garda operation

A tractor, stolen from Co Sligo last month, has been recovered as part of an ongoing operation in south Leitrim.

Over €100,000 in stolen machinery was recovered last Friday, September 26, as part of a garda operation. The haul included a low loader, rock breaker, pole erector and digger.

Gardai renewed an appeal at the time for a John Deere tractor which was stolen in the same raid.

The tractor was recovered last night (Tuesday, September 30) only a few miles from where the rest of the stolen machinery was located.
