Tributes paid after sad passing of respected resident of Leitrim community
Eileen McKenna, born to Paddy and Jane Ann Guckian, Lisnagea, Kilnagross passed to her eternal reward

The village of Jamestown was indeed a sad place last week with the news of the death of a respected and stalwart resident of our community.
Eileen McKenna, born to Paddy and Jane Ann Guckian, Lisnagea, Kilnagross passed to her eternal reward on Monday, 13th November 2023.
Eileen was predeceased by her loving husband Pat McKenna, from the Kingdom of Co Kerry, by her dear son, Sean and recently also her brother, Sean Guckian, Lisnagea, Kilnagross.
Eileen will be sadly missed by her daughter Eileen McNamara, her son Kevin, son-in-law Trevor and daughter-in-law Siobhan, cherished grandchildren Patrick, Andrew and Brian, all her family, her neighbours and friends.
To all who knew Eileen, no matter who they were, they were always greeted with a smiling face. She loved meeting people, having a bit of craic.
She was always a good listener and adviser to young and old alike.
