Limited remaining tickets are up for grabs for an exciting Fire Night event at Carlow College this weekend
Last remaining tickets now available for Fire Night at the Grounds of Carlow College this Friday, 23 October, at 7.30pm
With excitement building across the county, organisers of Fire Night 2026 are encouraging the public to secure the final remaining tickets for what promises to be one of the most spectacular outdoor events of the autumn season.
This year's headline attraction, Ephemera, comes from acclaimed Irish spectacle company VolkiDána and will transform the grounds of Carlow College into a magical and immersive world inspired by myth, folklore and the traditions of Samhain.
Combining giant puppetry, aerial acrobatics, dance, fire performance, live music and immersive procession, Ephemera invites audiences on a captivating journey between the everyday world and the otherworldly.
Suitable for all ages, the production offers a unique opportunity for families and communities to come together and celebrate the spirit of Samhain through storytelling, imagination and spectacle.
Audience members will follow the story of an ancient deity awakening for one final journey across the land. Surrounded by flames, soaring performers, larger-than-life characters and dramatic visual effects, visitors will be transported into an unforgettable mythological landscape where wonder awaits at every turn.
Fire Night has become a highlight of the autumn events calendar in Carlow, attracting visitors from across the region and showcasing the town as a vibrant destination for culture, creativity and community celebration.
Speaking ahead of the event, Mayor of Carlow Municipal District, Cllr. Ken Murnane, said:
"We are delighted with the incredible public response to Fire Night 2026. Events like this bring people together, create memorable experiences for families and visitors, and add enormously to the cultural vibrancy of Carlow.
“It is wonderful to see such strong support for an event that celebrates our traditions while delivering a world-class spectacle for all ages."
Kieran Comerford, Head of Economic Development & Enterprise, Carlow County Council, highlighted the wider impact of events such as Fire Night on the local economy and tourism sector:
"Festivals and events play a vital role in supporting local businesses, attracting visitors to the county and enhancing Carlow's reputation as a destination for arts, culture and entertainment. Fire Night showcases the best of what can be achieved through collaboration and investment in quality experiences that benefit both residents and the local economy."
Organisers are advising attendees to arrive early, dress warmly and prepare for an outdoor experience unlike any other. With demand at an all-time high and only a limited number of tickets remaining, advance booking is strongly recommended.
