A Kilkenny town's streets are 'under attack'

Callan residents have expressed concern following a visible increase in weeds around the town.

According to reports in the area, pathways and approach roads into the town have been left unsightly by the ‘unwanted visitors’.

One local person had people visiting from overseas and while they enjoyed their stay in the town, the visitors commented on the untidiness of the weeds. 

“All are asked to play their part and help keep Callan tidy“, a spokesperson said.
