Active Body Therapy Centre is a welcome addition to Kilkenny

Active Body Therapy is the newest addition to Callan, covering all surrounding areas. Based on Green Street the clinic was set up by Stephen Stuart, a local Orthopaedic Massage Therapist, to help alleviate pain and suffering of others.

Stephen is from Callan and lives there with his wife Angela and two sons. He is a fully qualified Cranial, Paediatric Therapist and Sports Massage Therapist and is also undertaking his Osteopathic Degree.

“Over the years, through various sports I suffered different injuries wasn’t able to get full relief so I wanted to understand the body,” he said.

“I want my clients to get relief from pain and suffering and my methods do just that. I also understand people’s lives, so I offer evening appointments and emergency call outs for those unable to get into the clinic if it’s needed.

“My intention is always about my clients’ needs,” added Stephen. “I will listen to my clients’ concerns and guide them in their recovery or in their sports performance. I am grateful I am now in a position to use my training and experience to make a difference.

“I am registered with IIPT which is recognised by most health insurers, which enables people to claim back health expenses from their health insurance provider.
