Kilkenny’s senior and intermediate camogie teams learned who they’ll face in the race for national glory after the Camogie Association released the draws for this year’s Glen Dimplex All-Ireland camogie championships.

Peter ‘Chap’ Cleere’s senior side have been drawn in Group Two alongside beaten 2023 finalists Waterford, newly-promoted intermediate champions Derry, Tipperary, Antrim and Limerick.

Nowlan Park

As in previous years, six teams will qualify for the knockout stages of the senior All-Ireland championships, three from each group. The group winners will progress straight to the All-Ireland semi-finals on Saturday, July 27 in UPMC Nowlan Park. The second and third-placed teams will progress to the All-Ireland quarter-finals. These games will be held in Croke Park, ahead of the senior hurling All-Ireland semi-finals on Saturday, July 6 and Sunday, July 7.

In the intermediate championship Kilkenny, who will once again be under the care of Seamus Kelly, have also been drawn in Group Two. They will face Meath, Carlow, Kildare, Kerry, Dublin and Antrim.

Qualification for the knockout stages of the intermediate championship is in line with the senior championship, with the two group winners progressing straight to the semi-finals on Saturday, July 27. The second and third placed teams will play in the quarter-finals on Saturday, July 13.

Finals

The championships begin on Saturday, May 25 and will culminate with the three finals in Croke Park on Sunday, August 11.
