Digby Brady Landscaping Architects will assist Kilkenny County Council with the preparation of a Masterplan for the Clover Centre

A contract for provision of a consultancy service team was awarded recently for the preparation of a Masterplan for the Clover Centre site at Christendom, Ferrybank, County Kilkenny.

The contract was awarded to local firm, Digby Brady Landscaping Architects, who will assist Kilkenny County Council with the preparation of a Masterplan.

The Masterplan will be developed through a collaborative approach with the local community through extensive public consultation to identify local community needs, priorities and desires.

The overall objective of this initiative is to develop a high-quality parkland that creates a space that offers quality of life improvements in terms of physical and mental health wellbeing and the returning of this area to a hub for social interaction.

The Clover Sports and Social Centre comprises a former social centre building and grounds on 3.83 hectares (9.46 acres).

At present this site is zoned as ‘Active Open Space’ in the Ferrybank-Belview Local Area Plan 2017.
