The reunion began with a reception in the school library, followed by a group photograph. Among those in attendance were current and former staff members Michael Shine, Frances Bradley, John Poyntz, Paul Cuddihy, Jeff Carter, George Wallace, Kathy Holmes, Stephen Boyle, and Aubrey O'Keeffe.
A tree was planted in memory of classmates Kian Hayes and Nicky Callanan, providing a fitting tribute to their lasting place within the school community.
Celebrations then continued at Sullivan’s on John Street. It was wonderful to welcome former pupils who travelled from near and far to attend, including Gavin Brownrigg, who made the journey from New Zealand’s South Island.
If your year group is planning a reunion, the school would be delighted to share the details through the newsletter and social media channels. Please get in touch with Kilkenny College to arrange.
