During the Q&A, the Danesfort clubman was asked whether his iconic moments against Tipperary were a little bit sweeter in comparison to other counties.
"Absolutely," Hogan simply replied, earning him a huge cheer from the crowd gathered.
"Nobody really understands the rivalry unless you're living within Kilkenny or Tipperary," he added.
"My father is in from Callan and if you go back enough, very back now, there's Tipperary connections in there somewhere which we keep very silent but that made it brilliant.
"The fact that we're all from Kilkenny and there all from Tipperary, we're not just coming in here and playing for two random teams, they're our teams, it's our home and where are clubs are based," Hogan continued.
"If there was any team you wanted to play your best against, for us it was Tipperary," he claimed, stating "you want to pit yourself against the best."
