Storm Boelo claims Old Roan meeting at Aintree
Market Rasen goes ahead.
The meeting scheduled for Aintree has been abandoned as a result of Storm Boelo.
The course said on X: “Today’s Halloween Family Fun Day featuring the William Hill Old Roan Chase has been abandoned due to high winds caused by Storm Boelo.
“The safety of our racegoers, participants, colleagues and contractors is our highest priority. Thank you for your understanding.”
It was better news at Market Rasen, Galway and Wexford, however, with those cards going ahead.
