IRISH ISLANDS FEDERATION TO LAUNCH EQUALITY POLICIES

The Irish Islands Federation is this morning launching comprehensive policies aimed at securing the future of the Island Communities.The policies are to ensure that islanders have access to adequate services in health, education, and childcare and also to efficient and affordable broadband connections.It's hoped the framework of these policies will in future mean islanders have the same opportunities as people living on the mainland.Majella Ní Chríocháin of The Islands Federation says they want to make sure people find it attractive to live on an Island
