Young Galway sisters leave successful US jobs to start local business

Two Galway sisters are bringing their global tech and influencer marketing expertise back to the West with the launch of their new research-led social and creative agency.
Founded by Hannah and Rachael Ryan, RAYN Collective is dedicated to helping businesses across Galway and the West deeply understand their customers and grow their brands online.
The launch brings a formidable combination of international experience to the local market.
Co-founder Rachael Ryan spent ten years in New York, most recently serving as Head of Research and Insights at TikTok, where she analysed consumer behaviour on one of the world’s largest digital platforms.
Hannah Ryan brings top-tier influencer marketing expertise from both the US and Ireland, previously managing some of the country’s leading online talent with Andrea Roche at the AR Agency.
RAYN Collective officially opened its doors to the Galway business community following a highly successful kickoff at the celebrated West x West tech, venture, and culture festival in Castlebar, where Rachael delivered a standout fireside chat with John Burn-Murdoch from the Financial Times on the vital importance of human-led storytelling in the age of AI.
“I was lucky enough to work in New York, gaining years of global experience, and now I am incredibly excited to build something in the West of Ireland” said Rachael Ryan.
“The arts and creative culture in Galway have always made me proud to be from here. Now, we want to help nurture young creatives and build the partnerships that ensure Galway's businesses are getting the best minds in the room.”
“Between us, we’ve worked with the biggest brands, creative minds, and creators in the world, and this is the first time our work has been focused on Galway itself,” added Hannah Ryan.
“We grew up here. We’re Galway girls, and we love this city. We are thrilled to bring our experience home to support the businesses that make Galway such an incredible place to be.”
The sisters are already planning to launch free marketing clinics for local businesses in November, alongside a series of upcoming workshops and speaking events.
