Daily Covid figures confirmed by the Department of Health
THE HEALTH Protection Surveillance Centre has today been notified of 6,284 PCR-confirmed cases of COVID-19.
In addition, on Monday 14 March, 9,735* people registered a positive antigen test through the HSE portal.
As of 8am today, 1,047 COVID-19 patients are hospitalised, of whom 42 are in ICU.
This marks a very slight increase in hospitalisations, with yesterday's figure stating that there were 1,042 patients in hospital.
The ICU number of 42 remains the same.
