Miss Munster raises thousands for worthy Limerick charity

HANNAH Morrissey, is not just Miss Munster for 2023, but also a dedicated member of her community, as she has raised over €3,700 for the Limerick Marine Search and Rescue as part of her Miss Ireland campaign.
Hannah, who hails from Co Clare and works as an emergency medical technician, was crowned Miss Munster in August. She took the stage at the Miss Ireland competition last Saturday.
A significant aspect of the competition was the Beauty with a Purpose segment, where contestants are tasked with raising awareness about the Julian Benson Foundation, which supports individuals with cystic fibrosis, and also to fundraise for a charity of their choice.
Hannah chose to support the Limerick Marine Search and Rescue, a voluntary organisation as they save lives on the Limerick waterways.
As well as accepting donations online, she organised a trad music night and raffle in The Local Inn, in her native Ballyea.
