I WAS truly delighted to be the host for the magnificent Focus Ireland Christmas Concert in St Mary's Cathedral in the heart of Limerick city. It was such an uplifting festive event, with the homeless charity putting together a magical evening for all.

There were beautiful performances from a range of local and international choirs, with moving operatic ballads among them.

The students at Scoil Chríost Rí put on a fabulous performance with their teacher Sinead Mullane. As well as this, wonderful spot prizes were given out on the night, which were kindly donated by a range of Irish companies.

Thanks to all, especially Focus Ireland - it was a true honour to be involved.

Finally, I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and here’s to the New Year - let’s hope 2023 is good to us all!
