The Ursuline Thurles to host massive fashion show fundraiser

The Parents Council of the Ursuline Secondary School, Thurles, will be hosting a fundraiser Fashion Show in the school’s Sr Ursula Memorial Hall on Saturday March 4.
The event is being run in association with the well-known Holman Lee Agency. Showcasing their clothing lines on the night will be a mix of local stores and boutiques as well as recognised Irish designers.
These include popular local stores Hummingbird, Moran’s Menswear, Le Chateau Clothing & Choos, as well as En Paris, while Borrisoleigh based Bourke Sports will show off their hugely popular sportswear range.
The school is also delighted with the support of two of Tipperary’s most popular designers, Heidi Higgins and Nenagh based Marion Murphy Cooney. From Adare, boutique owner Kaye Hourigan will bring style from both of her boutiques, Isobel’s of Adare and Marc Cain Adare.
Long time Cashel favourites Daverns will be on show, as will newcomers to the town, Esru Boutique, while county Waterford’s Jim Jams will show off some of their ethically sourced nightwear.
As if all of this isn't enough, pieces from Melissa K shoes and Alison Roe Millinery will accessorise the outfits throughout the evening.
The event will commence at 7pm, with a prosecco, cocktails and canapés reception.
Style icon Celia Holman Lee, presenter on the evening, will then get the show under way at 8pm.
Modelling will be some of Celia Holman Lee’s own models, while there will also be some familiar faces taking to the catwalk with staff and students strutting their stuff on the runway.

Local businesses have been extremely generous in their support of the event, and there will be a raffle on the evening full of wonderful prizes to be won.
The event is a fundraiser for extra curricular activities in the school.
As with everything right now, rising costs mean extra charges for all of the trips and events that make school so enjoyable.
Keen that this should not be an impediment to participation, the Parents Council are committed to raising funds to offset the increase in transport and participation costs.
Tickets are available to purchase online at www.gr8events.ie/uctfashionshow or by phoning the school itself on 0504-22147.
Make sure to book yours today for what promises to be an evening full of fun and fashion.
