Limerick are back in front in the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship race

One bookmakers' firm has installed Tipperary as fourth favourites to win the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship, following their win against Waterford last Sunday.

Limerick are back in front in the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship race, according to the bookies, following their emphatic victory over Cork last Sunday.

Aaron Gillane (twice) and Adam English both found the net for the Treaty County as they gained some revenge for last year’s All-Ireland semi-final defeat to Pat Ryan’s team and triggered a significant rethink amongst the oddsmakers.

With a place in the Munster final looking all but certain following the 16-point drubbing at the Gaelic Grounds, Limerick's odds have been cut into odds-on favourites at 10/11 (from 2/1) to get their hands on the Liam MacCarthy Cup for the fifth time in six years.

The Rebels’ grasp on favouritism has slipped as they have now been pushed out to 5/2 (from 6/5), while Kilkenny (5/1) and Tipperary (8/1) lead the chasing pack, with reigning champions Clare now out of contention.
