ICA ladies join Cahir Tidy Towns Group on a special mission to tackle flower beds

Last week the Cahir ICA ladies supported the good work of the Cahir Tidy Towns Group.

They joined forces to work together to maintain the flower beds in the new car park on Church Street.

There was lots of learning under the guidance of Eleanor - our Chief Horticulturalist - Eleanor identifies the plants and she insists the ladies dig out the roots of the weeds and scutch grass if the flower bed needs to be cleaned.

Many of the ICA choir members serenaded the work through song, so it turned out to be a productive and enjoyable exercise!

Well done ladies!
