Tipp come a cropper in Nowlan Park

Kilkenny 2-17

Tipperary 0-18

Two goals in the last six minutes of this Allianz National Hurling League thriller at Nowlan Park, Kilkenny on Sunday last carried the home county to victory over a Tipperary side that will feel that the points were there for them.

Kilkenny-Tipperary clashes continue to be the top box office hurling attraction, and despite the very difficult conditions at Nowlan Park, the sides again served up a rip-roaring contest, the five points losing margin not doing justice to the Tipperary effort.
